There is a moment in every artist's life where you stop planning and start being.
For a long time, Djinn's Treasure was just a vision in my mind. It was a feeling I carried with me—a desire to create something that felt magical. But looking at this photo—standing in front of my display here in Chicago—I realize that the vision has finally become a reality.
From California to the Windy City If you look at the painting above the shelf in this photo, you'll see the Chicago skyline. That piece was painted by my partner, Paola, and it represents a massive chapter of our lives: the move from California to Chicago to truly step into this journey.
Right now, I am standing inside HomeGrown Studios in Pilsen. It's a retail space I share with over 30 other local artists. Being here, surrounded by the work of so many other creators, reminds me of what matters most.
The Vision I am often asked what Djinn's Treasure is about. Is it jewelry? Is it art? Is it spiritual?
The answer is simple: It's us.
While I might be the catalyst starting this fire, the warmth comes from the community we build around it. My vision is for Djinn's Treasure to be more than just a shop. It is a concept where art, spirit, and people collide.
The Real Treasure Every pendant in that case was wire-wrapped by my hands, and every design born from a specific intent, but they are incomplete until they connect with you.
There is a mantra that guides everything I create, and it is the message I want to take away from this brand:
"You are loved, you are worthy, you are the artist, and the work of art."
We are the treasure. This community is the treasure.
